Geek Vs Nerd
When I was growing up geeks and nerds were 2 very different animals. Nerd was an academic title where as geek was cultural. Nerds were good in school, worked hard and were naturally clever. I was non of these. I was and still am a Geek, we played advanced hero quest, read lord of the rings and could recite whole episodes of red dwarf. Some where along the way they began to mean the same thing. But I still feel like someone is trying to be mean if they call me a nerd.
Just on the train to Nottingham. Meeting my dad for some shopping and guy time. With Page 45 the comic book shop beckoning, as well as the London Boot Co with its array of rockabilly apparel and I’ve got to get my gal something for her Bday. Today is gonna get expensive!

wow this is my first question! i live in England (that bit was easy) my tastes in music is diverse and ever changing! i like the Rockabilly, Swing, Rock ‘n’ Roll and Surf. I like British 70’s Folk Rock and Prog. i like electronica, Boards of Canada being my favourite. the list is too long to bore you with. As for goggle, i have only one pair currently but a fair few pairs of Spectacles.
Like a retro styled moth I have emerged from the cocoon of my sick bed looking different! Gone are the victorian side whiskers! A new gypsy jazz tash has taken residency upon my top lip, I shall name him Django!
